Freight Train

Leaving this place and feeling down,
I'm taking a freight train out of town;
I don't care where it is bound:

Because I'm hitching this boxcar to the stars!

Running away isn't easy to do,
But I really need to get away from you;
Because you only make me blue:

And now I can stop hanging out in all of those bars!

Holding back, not tempting fate,
Maybe I should have decided to wait;
Instead of riding with this freight:

Then I wouldn't be sleeping in these stinking cattle cars!
