Comma Karma

A comma here, a comma there,
I can attach a comma anywhere!
I seem to have quite a flair
For putting commas everywhere!

Right or wrong, I will find
A sentence that is unrefined,
And just to give me peace of mind,
I'll place a comma on its behind.

Colons and semicolons do not count,
No accent nor hyphen is tantamount!
As punctuation goes, by this account,
For me, only commas are paramount!

Some sentences, I fear, may never end,
Some thoughts I surely must extend;
While rules of comma I might bend,
Everyone will be able to comprehend.

I know that it has become my goal
To use the comma, to cajole, to extol,
And possibly even to gain control
Of an idea's very heart and soul.

I wonder if it is my Karma to go on
Growing commas long after I am gone?
This would be quite a phenomenon:
A Comma Karma Reincarnation Marathon!
